Achieved and Impending Milestones

Lane Cove Cricket Club has a frugal yet endearing history, and whilst the club works towards winning a 2nd Club Championship (the single previous occasion being in 1969/70, Brian Scott’s first season), there are a number of personal milestones that will be eternally glorified in this tiny corner of the global interwebberblog.

The 2009/10 season is Lane Cove Cricket Club’s 117th, and in that time only:

  • 19 players have passed 4000 runs.
  • 10 players have passed 400 wickets.
  • 10 players have passed 100 wicketkeeping dismissals.
  • 8 players have passed 100 catches.

  • Joe Camarsh passed 500 runs for the club against South Sydney in Round 3.
  • Martyn Potts passed 500 runs for the club against South Sydney in Round 3.
  • Angus Knapp passed 500 runs for the club against Roseville in Round 4.
  • Jack Gayleard passed 500 runs for the club against Roseville in Round 4.
  • Alex Maxwell passed 50 keeping dismissals for the club against Roseville in Round 4.
  • Brian Scott set a new LCCC Record of 1,013 wickets against Warringah in Round 5.
  • Bryan Dempsey passed 500 runs for the club against Burwood in Round 6.
  • Brett Richardson passed 300 wickets for the club against Burwood in Round 6.
  • Nick Trumbull passed 50 wickets for the club against Burwood in Round 6.
  • Geof Sundstrom passed 2,500 runs for the club against Auburn in Round 9 (TCC).
  • Glen Smith passed 500 runs for the club against Southern Districts in Round 7.
  • Gerald Cornelius passed 500 runs for the club against Southern Districts in Round 7.
  • Craig Robertson passed 200 wickets for the club against Southern Districts in Round 7.
  • Chris Granger passed 50 catches for the club against Southern Districts in Round 7.
  • Owen Fisher passed 1,500 runs for the club against Auburn in Round 9.
  • Cam Bezer passed 150 wickets for the club against Auburn in Round 9.
  • Tom McDonald passed 100 wickets for the club against Auburn in Round 9.
  • Ed Scrivens passed 500 runs for the club against Strathfield in Round 11.
  • Brett Richardson passed 50 catches for the club against Strathfield in Round 11.
  • Geof Sundstrom passed 50 catches for the club against Pennant Hills in Round 12.
  • Justin Sharp passed 2,000 runs for the club against Georges River in Round 13.
  • Peter Mallyon passed 200 wickets for the club against Georges River in Round 13.
  • Iain Davidson passed 50 catches for the club against Georges River in Round 13.
