2007/08: Achieved and Impending Milestones

MILESTONES

Lane Cove Cricket Club has a rich history and whilst the club works towards winning their 2nd club championship (one and only in 1969/70, Brian Scott’s first season) there are a number of personal milestones that can be achieved this season.

Lane Cove Cricket Club is in its 115th Season. In that time only:

  • 19 players have passed 4000 runs.
  • 10 players have passed 400 wickets.
  • 10 players have passed 100 Wicketkeeping dismissals.
  • 8 players have passed 100 catches.

The following milestones have been achieved during the 2007/08 season:

  • John Lloyd passed 100 catches against Georges River in round 2.
  • Alex Dodds passed 1000 runs against Georges River in round 2.
  • Michael Warren passed 500 runs against Georges River in Round 2.
  • Alex Dodds passed 150 wickets against Epping in Round 3.
  • Chris Granger passed 3000 runs against Macquarie Uni in Round 4.
  • Stu Myers passed 2500 runs against Macquarie Uni in Round 4.
  • Tom McDonald passed 500 runs against Lindfield in Round 6.
  • Tom Holt passed 300 wickets against Lindfield in Round 11 (Tim Creer Cup).
  • Sean Dunn passed 500 runs against Burwood in Round 7.
  • Chris Camarsh passed 100 wickets against Burwood in Round 7.
  • Simon Rowe passed 50 wickets against against Burwood in Round 7.
  • Geof Sundstrom passed 2000 runs against Warringah in Round 8.
  • Brian Scott passed 950 wickets against Warringah in Round 8.
  • Brett Richardson passed 250 wickets against Strathfield in Round 9.
  • Cam Bezer passed 100 wickets against Strathfield in Round 9.
  • John Lloyd passed 6000 runs against North West Sydney in Round 11.
  • Peter Cross passed 500 runs against North West Sydney in Round 11.
  • Stuart Myers passed 150 wickets against South Sydney in Round 12.
  • Cameron McKay passed 4000 runs against Auburn in Round 13.
  • Tom Holt passed 2000 runs against Georges River in round 21 (Tim Creer Cup).

  • Cameron McKay passed 3500 runs against Auburn in Round 5 (Frank Gray).
  • Matt Mackenzie passed 3000 runs against Strathfield in the Qualifying Finals.
  • Chris Granger passed 2500 runs against South Sydney in Round 2.
  • Matt Mackenzie passed 2500 runs against South Sydney in Round 2.
  • Phil Brett passed 2000 runs against Southern Districts in Round 11.
  • Alex Southcott passed 1500 runs against Roseville in Round 8.
  • Iain Davidson passed 1500 runs against Pennant Hills in the Semi Finals.
  • Kyle Clarke passed 1000 runs against Burwood in Round 9.
  • James Harpham passed 1000 runs against Burwood in the Grand Final.
  • Mick Stone passed 500 runs against Lindfield in Round 4
  • Owen Fisher passed 500 runs against Lindfield in Round 4
  • Daryl Webb passed 500 runs against Burwood in Round 9 (Metro)
  • Shane Hunter passed 500 runs against Auburn in Round 6
  • Rohan Higgins passed 500 runs against Pennant Hills in Round 7.
  • Simon Rowe passed 500 runs against Burwood in the Grand Final.
  • Brett Richardson passed 250 wickets against Auburn in Round 6.
  • Craig Robertson passed 150 wickets against North West Sydney in the Qualifying Finals.

  • Trent Willoughby passed 50 wickets against Burwood in Round 9 (Metro)
  • Iain Davidson passed 50 wickets against Warringah in Round 10.
  • Stephen Flynn passed 100 dismissals against Auburn in Round 6
  • Tim Naughton passed 50 dismissals against Roseville in round 8
  • Phil Brett passed 100 catches (76 as keeper) against Burwood (Frank Gray)
  • Matt Mackenzie (29 wickets) broke the LCCC record for wickets in a Frank Gray season (B.Dickardson, 22) and also broke the Shires record (28, C.Cheer, Georges River) in the final against Auburn.
  • Damian Naughton (535 runs) broke his own LCCC record for runs in a Frank Gray season (374) and also broke the Shires record (522, B.Chapman, Burwood) in the final against Auburn.
